Sean Dahlman and Meaghan Novoa

Sean Dahlman is a composer, videographer, and botanist from Boise, Idaho. He attended the College of Idaho in Caldwell, where he studied music theory and conservation biology. In 2014, he was commissioned by the Boise Art Museum to compose a score for the silent film Nosferatu, and went on to write music for numerous silent films. This practice grew into creating his own art videos, which has prompted collaborations with musicians, dancers, and visual artists in the city. Currently he is continuing his study into slow motion art films and finding unique ways of synergizing slow motion visuals with live dance. Meaghan Novoa is a dancer/choreographer originally from Atlanta, GA, currently residing in Boise,ID. While living in Atlanta, she had the opportunity to perform with companies such as Southern Arc Dance Theatre, City Gate Dance Theater, Room To Move Dance Company, Liquid Sky and Professional Bodies. Other notable opportunities included performing with Dance Canvas for their annual choreographic performance series, participating in the Modern Atlanta Dance Festival as a dancer and choreographer, collaboration with singer/songwriter Kate Coleman, and being a background aerialist for CW’s “The Originals” season 5. In summer of 2018, she relocated to Portland, OR and began dancing with Automal dance company. Her favorite performance opportunities included dancing at the 2018 Galaxy Dance Festival, 2019 Fertile Ground Festival and performing alongside the band Lili St. Anne for their most recent EP release concert. Now residing in Boise, ID, Meaghan dances and choreographs for Idaho Dance Theatre and continues to work on projects as an independent choreographer.
